Apple, Raisin & Almond Crunch Pudding

Apple, Raisin & Almond Crunch Pudding

This scrummy baked pudding is easy peasy lemon squeezy. (No lemons required, but you know what we mean), simply made by layering sliced apples with flaked almonds, grated marzipan and Jordans Cereal.

  • 3 cups Jordans Cereal
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 4 apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp of water
  • ¼ cup flaked almonds
  • 250 g (9 oz) Marzipan, coarsely grated
  • Serve with; whipped cream, ice cream, custard...whatever takes your fancy.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Use the butter to grease a deep baking dish.
  • Arrange half the apple slices in the base of the dish and add 2 tablespoons of water. Scatter half the almonds, half the grated marzipan and half the Jordans Cereal over the top. Repeat the layers.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream, custard or whatever takes your fancy....
Cook's Tips: Slice the apples thinly so that they cook until tender. If the marzipan is quite soft, chill it in the fridge before grating it.
